Can you believe this?

I had a kid who just passed his test, bringing a Renault Clio down for a tint. He brought it down one evening and left it with me. His mother came down with him and was asking me questions about if the tints were legal and stuff.

So after explaining everything I needed to, they left and I tinted the car. They came and collected it the next day, happy with the job.

A week later I get a call from the kids mother telling me that all the tint had faded and started peeling and she wanted her money back. I told her that fading and peeling are very unusual and if she would like to bring the car down to the work shop tonight I will have a look and if need be, re-tint it for her. She reluctantly said OK, so I tolds her to come down about 6pm.

I waited until 7pm and she didnt show up. I tried ringing her to see where she was but got no answer. :lol6

I thought fair enough and never heard from her again. About a month later I was doing a job for another kid and I was telling him the story and it turn out he knew the first kid. What had happened, is that the day after I tinted the car he crashed it a wrote it off. His mother, all annoyed that she had just paid for a tint job for her son that he had only had for a day, called me up lying about a bad tint job on a car, that is at the scrappers, expecting me to just send the money back. :lol6

When I asked her to bring the car down to show me, she obviously didnt show up because the car was in about 50 different pieces somewhere.

And to top it all off a few months later they brough another Clio down for another tint, Im assuming the replacement for the one the kid crashed. I asked them what happened to the old one and his mother told me they sold it, unaware that I knew it had been written off by her son a day after I tinted it. :DD
