Well I finally found an Astro ext van. It aint exactly gorgeous but it will do for now since I got the guy to lower the price down to $550.00. He has had it since new (1993) and has detailed maintenece records of all repairs and etc.. 200,000 miles, newer brake pads all around, new fuel pump, new fuel injection system, recent front end alignment, tires new last spring. Some rusty spots, dings here and there. But for the most part its in decent shape for the year. Let me know what yah think. I plan on tinting all the back windows with 5% (legal in ohio on vans and suvs) to keep my stuff hidden and to help the vinyl lettering show more clearly.

For that money, even if ya gotta put another 3000 in it, you know what you have. Buy it, fix EVERYTHING on it. I paid $3k for my Bravada, and put another 2k in it, but I won't hesitate to jump in it and run to Fla. I can count on it!! I got 5k in it, it looks good from 5 or 6 ft, (Sm dings & chips). BUY IT!!!

Then comes the next step. The KEY word here is SIGNAGE!!! This has got to be the single most effective money I have spent for advertising:

And with that Astro, You got a rolling billboard! Looks like thats the AWD version too! The down side is that they came with an optional 27 gal tank. THATS gonna hurt at the pump, but my old astro (A '93 as well) got about 19 - 20 MPG city, and around 22 - 24 hiway.

GREAT job/find!!! :beer:thumb

Well I picked up my $550 van yesterday. I dumped about $300 into it...oil change, detail, transmission flush/fill, tune-up....etc.. to make it trustworthy and looking decent. I am about to go out and tint it with 5% in the rears and 50% on the fronts. I think I am going to remove the glass since it has those pop open latches on all the rear windows and I dont want to cut around them. I am glad at least the are all flat!!! LOL...even the one piece rear... I have lost all my auto tinting skills from doing flat all these recent years. I will post some pics once I get it tinted and vinyled later this coming week.
