global for black out here easy to work with, it will scratch so sand your tools down for a smooth finish. easy to do for the drop method I use a shortend broom handle.

most black rubber gaskets can be removed safely on the sides and the bottom.

Check a corner of the bottom gasket first, before removal. Make sure they can

be replaced easily, by pressing into the mullion.

SOME GASKETS are glazed from the outside , before the glass is set. These are

usually 1/8 to 1/4 inch in thickness , they are easily identified. Dont try removal.

If in doubt, ask someone at a glass company to show you the different types of gaskets, or thumb thru a Somaca or CR lawrence catalogue.
