When determining film costs, always look at the big picture. Consider the differences between brands in film waste, installation time (how long does it take you to seal edges or fight an over-aggressive adhesive), warranty returns, and other issues. When you look at initial cost alone, the difference in price between the most expensive film and the cheapest is probably less then $10 per kit.

The ability to complete a quality installation on the first attempt in a reasonable amount of time is key. You could pay $50 for film and spend 4 hours installing or $60 for film and get it done in an hour or two.

The fact is its not just the price of the film that drains your revenue, its as much about callbacks due to film defects.

Quality control from ALL the film manufacturers suck big time and getting film credits for defects is generally a nightmare whoever you deal with.

the truth is you should not believe ANY film manufacturer and should not be tied to one brand of film (however attractive they make it seem) todays great Product can easilly become tommorrows Garbage.

As an installer you do not count at all to a film manufacturer Sure they will make it seem like you are the most important part of the equation, right until that first bad shipment comes in then watch out!!
