I was the same way. I wouldn't touch fader, color, ets because of long term issues. I was afraid the down the line someone would see a film go to hell and ask where it was done and give me a bad name. BUT, all my competetors offer it so I had to follow so I wouldn't lose the business. I use the Llumar color film and it looks ok. The stuff is like cardboard to work with though. It has a very thick liner because it is intented for use in graphic arts and since most do this on a plotter it is easier to work with in that respect. The smaller crap film companies all offer mirror, fader, and color films. They are very easy to find. It is a nice extra now because you can charge a lot more for that film than the reg film!$!$!$ Also, no warranty on any of this type of film, I don't care if the manufacturer offers it or not.

I never give warranty on fader and charge more for it. but then I ask the customer why pay more for a film with no warranty.for the same reason as you power I try to push them a way from it.once I have them in my shop the money is still mine

Good advice on the fader film..I've seen it at Wal-Mart and other department stores..usually it's no wider than 24" , so how does the fading work if your using 2 sheets on a back window thats ...say...32" ?

I feel the same way on the fade film but I've had to order 3 rolls of it this week already. I've had to stoop to this level cuz my customers are paying big bucks for it!!!, and they won't back off!!!
