Reverse Curve...is it possible???

Recommended Posts

My dad has a 66 Mercury Monterey he has been bugging me about tinting. The windows I can tell are going to be a PITA. All of them have chrome moldings at the top of the windows but thats not my problem. Problem is the glass instead of rounding out, it rounds inwards. Is there any way you can tint it? and if so what technique would be the best way to go about it? I'll try and post a picture of it.

some have had luck w/ shrinking it from the inside, others would do a wet shrink from the outside with caution..

I've done visor strips on RV windshields and shrunk/cut/applied them on the inside.

many here have done the old school el camino's as well..

YMMV

actually, that car doesnt look to bad really. Have you tried laying film on it?

:beer I would be more worried about the trim around the glass than the curves itself. That, and it being tight inside
