anyone charge extra for vent shades

Recommended Posts

I live in the same town as Tint Tek :idea

Vent visors aren'ta big deal, just change the method of cutting, have window rolled down to where you would run your knife along the edge, squeegee, flick film out as rolling up window, then cut off access on bottom, never slips on me doing it that way..only takes another min. at the most :idea

I hate to disagree with you metint, but it WILL work on another computer.  I installed it at my house when we first got it (for some dumb reason, I don't have a plotter.)  It worked fine until the 1st of the month.

Wouldn't be the first and certainly not the last time I could be wrong.

Last I spoke with Andy Babiak, he was incorporating the technology into his new version. Just don't know for sure whether it was done.

No biggy, though, I am also looking out for a friend in deterring copying.

no problem.  I think if someone could afford a plotter at a second location, they could afford the $150 monthly fee!  By the way, when is the new version coming out?

That's a question better directed to Andy himself.

:cool

I just use the top edge of the vent visor as a guide and trim away any excess tint that may want to stick. Then roll down and cut the top edge as usual.

Vent shades used to be a pain but since I've been doing the above they're not that bad anymore. Hummer 2s will give you the same problem as the glass is inset pretty deep away from the frame.
