I'm guessing they somehow have 1099's they have to keep track of, but if the value of both is equal, would it be any different than taking cash ?

That's about right.

Every member has an account, basically. You have a card that works at every member's business. When you tint for a member, the "value" of your account goes up, and it is taxable income.

Like Stan said, It does bring in biz, just make sure there are goods and services available that

you will want and use. I took the family to Orlando for a week w/ Disney park and lots of other percs.

Out of pocket was less than $600 (you still have to pay sales tax).

I paid a thousand trade bucks to take my family down 300 foot in a submarine once on vacation. I would never have paid that in "real money" but trade was different. You do need to make sure the barter group is solid before you join and there are places in the club you can spend the money. Mine is a member of a national group so I can trade all over..

Cheers

Stan
