Thanks everyone for the replies to my recent post. On to the next question that is concerning me. I have seem to get some side roll ups nearly flawless but what do you do when you roll the window up and there is that one big spec that appears out of nowhere. I razor blade all the windows before install and squeege once sometimes twice. These usually show up in odd places like the middle of the window. Is there anyway to remove the spec? Can the film be salvaged or is this another piece practice piece?

I would say roughly 5 years experience i have been tinting since i was 16 off and on. It has never really been a full time gig for me but it is something that i really enjoy to do on the side. I actually had a local tinter train me about 3 years ago for about 3 months mostly on weekends and afternoons but i am finding out more and more that i think he hid more stuff from me than i thought. As for when does a spec become a big spec i am not talking about the little specs that i assume come from pour preperation it just seems to be one lone spec maybe 1/16 to 1/8 in diameter. I just cant figure out why these seem to appear. Could it be from the glass wall to the car? I usually clean my glass wall once a week as i only tint on weekends.
