He has 2 tractors and a 55 truck he wants me to do now, not shitting :dunno

I'd want you to do more work for me to if your gonna bend over like that for him.

I would replace it with the very good shape glass , then eye fawk the rest of his 3 yr old car and point out countless other issues I'm sure it has when taking the same microscope to the rest of the car that he is to this window. Just be glad your not his wife

If she's as picky as he is, I'll be he's pretty self conscious when he drops his... wallet. Some people just need a hobby or something.

I might sound like an unethical jerk... but if you found a mint condition used glass, I'd get the glass guy to do it and tell him it's a genuine replacement part, or say it's new. It's new to him. In my own mind, as long as that car left my bay in as good (or better) shape than when it came it, I'd be fine with it.

Then point out all the other stuff wrong with his stupid Caddy :lol

I'm game :lol2 Same goes if I'm ever in... Fredericton? I think that's where you said you are in NB.

Just read this post. Your not the only one who has had this problem. Some of the Caddy's have really really soft glass. Word to the wise, use the button trick on the BG's of these , and the quarters as well. Ohh, and dont spring for a new one, get a used one at best. And it would not hurt to get him to come to your shop, so you can take pictures of the damage just in case you need it. Regardless find a resolution that is fair to both YOU and him.
