We have a lift

How heavy is it......?

It is a 28 foot scissor lift. With a 30 x 84 work platform. I bought it about 2 years ago from a rental company. My guess is that it is in the 1500 pound range

That would be a nice luxury to have. When I think of all the $$ spent over the years renting them. But I don't have any place to store it, and don't have anything to transport it with.

We load it in a enclosed trailer when we move it, the tailgate ramp is rated for 3k pounds and we have not ripped the hinges off yet. We really only use it on concrete or other solid surfaces, never on residential. Like I said it is probably 1500 lbs maybe a bit more, I know I'm not picking it up at any point in the near future.

I would say use a sky scraper with a man on either side. :thumb

+1.

Of course depends where... are you talking a home or commercial building? 72" tall or 72" wide?

If 72,tall then shouldnt be too bad once you find out how to get to it.

72 wide and it is premium home. Therefore I am concerned about bringing a lift in. Any experience with this?
