Tinting behind high mount brake lights

I find the trick with the bulldozer isn't to go straight up and down but rather kind of side to side.

Make sure the glass is wet above the light, tilt the dozer at a 45 degree angle and push down and sideways at the same time. That way it slides out from behind the light, while still pushing out the water. It takes a few times to get all the water, but it gets it all eventually.

It sounds like if you're having problems with the bulldozer its user error, since almost everyone on here uses that tool for this purpose.
