Black duct tape from CRL. Sticks to anything and leaved no residue when you take it off

isn't that basically gaffers tape? Thought it may be too thick for tint use.

I like the blue tape overall for 90% of cars. But, if blue doesn't stick then I use the green autobody tape. My local color supply house has a no name tape thats orange that is like right in the middle of the two and i like that also.

There is a Low Tack tape manufactured by BRON TAPE.

We tint a lot of cars and the low tack keeps it from sticking to the molding and leaving residue. This means you can remove the tape without rolling the windows back down.

Additionally, it is a vinyl, so water doesn't deteriorate it.

It is also RED in color (other colors might be available) so that makes it easy to spot and makes the installation look more professional if your client happens to be watching.

Try one roll, you will never use anything else.
