torch shrinking

While that thing looks bad ass. I can imagine it being really good to shrink them film that fast.

My biggest worry with using a torch was damaging gaskets and paint around the back glass area.

I use both yellow when it's cold out side and blue in the summer. It also depends on how fast you can move your hands out the way.

and not all film likes the torch. xpress film quick dry plus is my choice. been torching for quite a while

How quick do you normally shrink out a back glass using a torch?

some people like 12v cordless some like 18v cordless, I see people use the old school drills on the big jobs! they never run out.

cordless or not it depends on you level of skillers...........

what I'm saying is it only takes me about 5 to 10 mins tops to shrink out a back glass using my heat gun. How much time will using a torch save me?

you ever use a torch on any JWF before?

I have wanted to try my hand at using a torch, but always been a bit chicken chit to mess up someones car.

If I'm running on Redline or mosters i can do a back window in a 1/4 of the time. You have to move very fast. A torch is not very giving at all!!

It will burn the film is a split second.... not like the heat gun, you can set the heat gun on the film for a second or two before it burns.

the thing I always liked about the torch idea was being cordless.

Maybe during my slow time this next month I will play around with one.
