Any tips on how to file the edges?

Right now I shave them with a #11 exacto knife, and I like to give the file a try. BTW, which one to get? Any tips and ideas would help, Thank's.

I tried filing and it wasn't for me. Got a few different ones and I couldn't get the swing of it. Just a loose Olfa blade for me.

Files and tempered glass edges (being sensitive) are way too scary for me, so I'm a X2 with the two-fisted shooter above.

I will never file edges. Ever car I have seen done that way will be much more likely to turn loose on the edges.

^{A mill bastard file is what we use.... Most stores sell them in 'medium' tooth... We bought and tested some of the 'fine' tooth files and keep going back to the medium...}

I use a chainsaw file you could find them where they sell the chainsaws at Lowes or Home Depot there a little thinner and not as course they work pretty good

I have a competitor that files. I've seen a ton of his jobs peeling. I'd rather give customer a barely visible gap and no issues.

Is there any advantage to using a file? I've only ever shaved wimdows
