Could be bad or better?

film on is supposed to be basically J&J minus the smell and glycerin or so I was told. I personally can't stand the smell of baby shampoo and it almost makes me sick. I have used Film-on for the last 7 years and have loved it.

Now for a BUT.... I recently got a bottle of film on and it had a smell and color. It also had very little slip for the amount I use. I tried double the amount of normal and it was not much better. I contacted Performance Tools and told them. They reluctantly agreed to send a new bottle. I got the new one and the smell was pretty "normal" and the color was almost clear. I have used this one for a few weeks and can say that it is still not the same as the older. I have a bottle that was in my shop for a couple years that I pulled out and it slips like film on should.....

So, please tell me the "alternative" that is out there....besides stinking baby shampoo or dish soaps.

Ryk have you ever tried the lavender J&J in the purple bottle. I use it because it smells better then the yellow J&J.

love the lavender smell in a purple liquid, smells better than the standard yellow shampoo.

been using it 4 a month now, the lady car owners are asking me what I use, and going GaGa!!!

dont buy film on thru performance tools. buy it thru llumar, its like $3 cheaper a bottle

When I first started we used Non-Ultra Joy.... Haven't used it in 12 yrs though....
