Poor radio reception with tinting?

210 series MB's have antennas in the rear glass on the wagons. Dealers recommend non-metallic tinting to avoid degraded reception which some owners report. Anyone have experience with tinting this chassis's windows? What do you suggest?

This is only a concern if your an AM radio fan . I use and Hybrid film myself which hasn't given my customers any grief. ATR Llumastar is what I use, but thier is lots of brands with the same qualities you can choose from :lol

I used the full metal film on an S-class and there doesn't seem to be any problems with radio reception. But then again, I don't listen to am radio.

The new Pinnacle series in the Formula One line is designed to address this issue. We've added this to our film selections (along with their Ultimate and Premier series) for the few vehicles for which this is a concern.
