2014 Chevy Silverado

These need no removal of the door panel and have the same clearance as if you did . The bottom seal pulls out with ease after depressing the metal clips that run along the top with a panel puller

The 2014 snaps back into place. There are metal clips along the rub rail that the top of the door panel snaps back into. Once you do one you will see what I am talking about.
Saw this after the fact. :bingo

Tint wizard-Happy1 is trying to get the panels off for mirror removal.

Happy1-hopefully Coast to Coast's instructions helped, I may add that the clips are probably dammit tight too. Might be part of the problem?

I've only had one 14 so far and I just pulled the tops back, and I thought stuff was breaking when the clips released.

Thanks TintWizard, there isn't a need to apologize. Thanks again to everyone who gave me the information I need. I had lost my nerve when i started to remove the panels last week. I didn't know if I needed to lift the panel to pull plastic hooks out of sheet metal slots like the older door style, or if I needed to pull it straight off.

Thanks Again !
