Best/Lowest Watt Heat GUn?

I own and use a 1500w heat gun from harbor freight that does the job, but anybody every used a lower wattage heat gun? have any recommendations?

I was run it off of a power inverter, so the less watt the longer it'll last. Here's one I found at radioshack, but I don't know if it will shrink enough film at one time:

that gun will never work. sadly i know from experience. back in early 2000's i was doing trucks in high school. and after finding a hair dryer doesnt work. i did try this. i dont know why i ever thought it would work.

most heat guns are around the same wattage. if you give up wattage you may sacrifice fan power or overall heat.

wagner from home cheapo or lowes. is a minimum. i tried a similar gun from ace hardware. thing would shut off randomly. and take forever to heat up.

It might work but it looks like it will be a more concentrated area that gets the heat.

Maybe for small stuff but I wouldn't try to shrink a Beetle with it.

Go buy yourself a bigger inverter ..... run a real heat gun... Slow shrinking back glass... UGH

Thanks, I'll start pricing 'em, Im pretty sure as long as the rms output on it matches the heat gun I use, I should be good, right?

I use a manual control Porter Cable, tons of heat when I need it or I can back it way down

exposing a very concentrated area to heat will crumble the tint.

or just use a blow tourch no watts there
