Taping felt

its a tape used especially for paint shops that use water based paint.

I buy it at my local auto paint supply store.

Yep, I use it too . If you do lettering nothing else comes close. Only damn thing that sticks to everything.

An alternative to taping is spray on adhesive ( a bit messy though) like upholstery shops use or you can steal a can of YZ101 's hair spray when he's not looking and use that.

They both will keep the felt where it should be and not under your film.

 I cant even remember what it costs per sleeve, but it comes out to around $2/roll I think.  Gotta get it at a paint supply store...at least around here you do.  I have never seen it anywhere else.
