ford truck satellite radio issue

I put film on the front windshield of a Ford F 250 yesterday. and now the customer is telling me that the Sirius satellite radio will not pick up.

have any of you guys had this issue yet? if so how bad have I screwed up.

What year?  I had issues with a 2011-2012 - solution... I removed the tint and cut my losses - radio worked perfect after.  This was with Llumar film.

I just bought that new f150 for my personal used and used jwf renegade 50% on my windshield and didnt have a lick.of problems! im curious what year your dealing with...

I used panaflex 70. But the vehicle has an antenna on the roof. Thought that was the satellite antenna. it is either a 2012 or 2013 Ford F 250.

I've done countless F-150s with no satellite radio problems. I use LLumar ATR, AIR80 and CTX. I guess the only to tell for sure is to remove it and see what happens...

After looking at the vehicle yesterday the sync and Bluetooth functions are not working either. The customer was going to give it a few days to dry out and then take it to the dealership to have it looked at. Told them if they were out of pocket any money for water damaged electronics that I would take care of it for them.

If I remember right the sync / stereo box is located under a panel top of dash.... could easily have had water run into it......    Will keep fingers crossed for ya!

Thanks guys. I haven't heard back from the customer yet. Hopefully it will work itself out.
