Some questions on shrink methods

I use Mr.P's Magic Sizing method still. Just clean the glass, dry, and mist with Magic Sizing. Allow that to dry naturally. No need to add any water to anchor.

The Magic Sizing acts like pressure sensitive adhesive, so you can anchor w/o using water, and move your anchor anywhere you want. I would expect it is about the same as the soap method, but I have never tried using soap. I switched from powder to Magic Sizing many years ago.

Sizing is a little less forgiving than the soap. Sticks much quicker in my experience.

I use the Bounce Dryer sheets (Dry shrink) techique on all my windows. I make an H pattern, anchor the center. Small anchor on the sides (not that necessary, just a habit). I start from the center, going evenly through the film, pointing the heat gun perpendicular to film. I have noticed other angles can make creases. I found that using gloves over the hard card is so much easier, and way more controlled. You can use your fingers to manages film fingers + no creases so far =)
