box slitter

anyone using one of these?  what are your thoughts, reviews?

They are ok in a pinch. If you are going to get one, get a piece of aluminum channel to screw it to and slip over the edge of the box. Search poor mans film handler on here, I posted a pic a year or so ago

Might as well stick the knife in the box unless you have the aluminum channel.

nice,   I will try to find a channel like that at Lowe's.  I thought about making the area a little more stronger, but that channel looks mighty fine. 

 

Thanks. for the tip.   Just looking to only order 40" rolls, one pull / 2 windows and try to save.  I have been moving a lot of 20% lately here in Fl since the weather is really getting hot and I am going thru 20x100 boxes like crazy, and to carry another box ugh!!!!

i use a knife and pull up off the floor to slit a 40" for auto.  i carry 20" for suv or truck back windows though

I cut the channel down to fit the tint box
