Finger Bubbles: How to prevent them

Recommended Posts

This is a video I made to show how to prevent finger bubbles.  I have noticed many tinters who pride themselves on how they are able to handle finger bubbles once they have occurred.  The older or more advanced tinters learn how to prevent them in the first place before they become a problem.  Enjoy the video!

One thing I've noticed recently that I suspect could cause fingers is a bad bottom factory edge. I usually do a bottom cut, but will sometimes use the factory edge. Recently I've noticed that if the factory is not perfect and is slight jagged this will cause fingers. This happened on several vehicles using the factory edge and one was a flat truck window that I never get fingers on.

Nice video!
