issue with xpel gel

Recommended Posts

anyone else seeing air pockets after your installs have dried out? over the last 3 weeks I have seen it happening on and off. Any gel that I usually leave behind has dried out in past, and the film sucked down to the paint.

Haven't heard anything about that.  If air is appearing in pockets that were previously all moisture, it is usually because it got hot and dried too quickly from engine heat or sitting in direct sunlight.

If you can send me a picture, I'd be happy to see if I can diagnose it better!

Flygti32, shoot me an e-mail at jphillips@xpel.com and let me know the following:

- is it all coming from the same roll?  If so, is it happening on every vehicle?

- Is it happening on all of your rolls?

- What size roll(s) are giving you the issue?

From the pics, that's definitely not what I mentioned before.  If I had to guess, I'd say it is either a defective roll, or crystallized gel in your spray bottles.  Either way shoot me that e-mail to let me know the details and we'll overnight a replacement roll if needed.
