di noc carbon fiber

does anyone know who can sell me 15-20ft by 60 black di noc?

 

interwest doesn't distribute it anymore and was sent to designtex.com. they could only sell me a 4 ft piece?

 

never had this problem in the past.

 

looking to do a hood and windshield surround.

 

does fellers sell it?

 

not sure where to get it for a customers vehicle.

Fellers should have it. They carry most all vinyl types.

Dinoc is calendared. You want 1080 cast.

You do NOT want to use Dinoc Carbon fibre on the exterior of a vehicle.

 

The 1080 series was MADE for that use!!

I made the mistake of using Di-noc on the first hood I did. It was one of my employees. It had cracks/splits in the film in under 8 months. Like said before use a cast  vinyl like 1080 or, i like Avery Supreme wrapping film. I have not used the Avery carbon fiber yet though.

I need to take a look at the the scrap material I have to see exactly what it was. may be 1080.

 

I did my hood a few yrs ago and have since sold the car.

I didn't have any issues with cracking or such. just kept it clean and protected every chance I got.

 

when I bought the film I explained what I was using it for hence a wide piece. the sales person didn't say anything about it not being good for exterior. so maybe it was 1080. I will look and confirm when I get back to the shop.
