Roll Width

Hope all is well.
I am just starting out and looking for some feedback. Trying to get a handle on what width roll most of you guys/girls keep in inventory(20",40",ect.)

Most common %VLT sold?

Any advice is welcome.

24 and 40 inch typically. Probably could go with 36 instead. Percentage 5 20 30 45.

Hello Mike, we offer 20, 24, 36, 40 &60 rolls. 60" rolls can be custom cut to other sizes like 22/38. 24" rolls will do all side windows and of course 40" rolls will do all back windows. A lot of newer vehicles have shorter back windows and can be done with 36" or smaller. The VLT's are really going to be dependent upon what state you are in and the legal limits of that state. We carry a multitude of VLT's in our Color stable films like UltraFX series 5, 15, 20, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, & 70%.

I have good luck with cutting a sixty inch down to twenty eight - thirty two for rear windows. We have a fifty percent law so usually just cut the fifty percent.

I would think a 22/38" cut would be a little more practical.

The 28-32 really saves us money doing bulk numbers on rear glass. Still carry cuts of 36 -22 and 40 and 20 and 24! Where oh where does it stop huh!!!

I remember back in the day I carried three twenty inch rolls for entire inventory, 5-20-35 percent! First time I saw a 80s Camero rear in o e piece I thought someone had sold their soul to the devil

Give the film that whitehog recommended a shot. I have used a lot of different films and as far as an overall film this ranks with the top. Not to mention they are really great to deal with.
