somebody mentiones this before, but the weather stripping somes out like a bug, I was shocked thursday how much easier tauruses are now why somebody didnt play this up before is beyond me, but it makes it one helluva lot easier, cleanest taurus windows I have ever done. take the plastic surround off the windows first they come off easy, then pull the weather stripping off, that simple.

mdog I remember that, someone did say that but unless your doing that particular car it kind of goes over you head till you need it them WHAM you remember it just in time hopefully, so all the rubber comes off none haging in the way or on the bottom edge?

all the felt stripping comes off, if you have done a bug its just like that, except you have to take some additional plastic trim off also that surrounds the seal, you can pry back the door panel and get the bottom seal out also its not attached to the panel.

Doing all that is so quick too. You can even put it all back without having to roll down the window.

thats right, really didnt slow me down any taking that stuff off wither it still took about a hour and 1/2 but LOTS less stress, thats the main thing.

the trim around the windows does not come off on the new 2003 models,,,ahhh the end of a once good thing...
