CB09U or CB15U Holder for cutting Paint Protection Film?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

We have been having some weeding issues with our PPF cuts. We are using 45 degree blades with a CB09U Grpahtec holder on a FC8600.

Just wondering what blade holder and blade (angle) should we be using for cutting 8 mil (0.2mm) Paint Protection film with some intricate cutting involved?

CB09U (Blue Tip) or CB15U (Red Tip) and which blade (45 degrees or 60 Degrees)?

What's your combination for smooth cuts which are easier to weed?
Thnx

CB09 with a 45?degree blade has been our setup for 20 years without fail.

Ot it sounds like you probably need to replace your cutting mat and adjust your blade strings more than anything.

Call your software provider and they can walk you through it.
