Window Film Brand to Sell?

Recommended Posts

I am new to the forum and have been tinting in South Florida for 20 years.  I am looking for a new brand of window film to sell that has all-around good film and customer service.  I am currently using 3M and have used Llumar, Suntek, ASWF,  and Viper.   I was interested in Global window film and SolarFX to name a few based on this site.  Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

With all things being equal, I do not feel all their film lines are worth the money.  I like the Crystalline alot, but I'm not so keen on the ColorStable, Obsidian, or Ceramic lines.  The Obsidian line color is not that great and it can't take that much heat.  ColorStable is really flimsy to install, and my customers have complained about the Ceramic being too silvery looking.  Their support has been bad as well.  I also thought that their brand name recognition would be an easier sale for me, but that is rarely ever the case.  I just want to find a good company with good lines of film and good support.  Everyone around me sells Llumar, Suntek, and ASWF.

Dear Tint PB,

My thoughts are that 3M run a wonderful brand push. However my personal thoughts are that 3M don't put enough focus on usability.

I will be brief. I would suggest contacting the crew from Express Window Films based in Orlando to ask for the best range to suit your needs.

In my defense for sounding like an advertiser that would receive kick backs, I can only say that the experience that Express offers has made ours better.

I feel it a good business/life decision to contact the peeps at Express and have them share their unsurpassed knowledge.

Michael.

Glass Tinting Supplies,

Thank you. I appreciate you taking your time out to offer me advice. I will be doing that Monday than.  I also called Global based on jh812's advice and they are sending me a package that I am receiving on Monday.  I'm excited to see what they offer.  I have also called Xpel based on redneckj's advice as well.  I just want a good product for my customer that I can be proud of.  I also thought of calling Solar FX.  I don't know if it's South Florida where I tint, but I've never heard of these brands until now. All I knew was Llumar, Madico, Johnson, Suntek, ASWF, 3M, Huper, Sunguard, and Solarguard.
