  1. Those suck every time. Looks like 10 pieces with relief cuts and the layers are separating. I'd throw that turd over the fence.
  2. Nope, and no one else does either. It's all a matter of lighting. As long as there is more light inside than out, you'll always be able to see in at night.
  3. If I know the gaskets are going to be a problem for whatever reason, I'll take the door panel off and run the film well below where the edge may interact with the flap.
  4. @Bham, your pics seem to have a bit of low angle haze.
  5. Haze of any kind would drive me crazy. I couldn't live with it personally.
  6. Just to add my 2 cents, I agree with @DynamicATL and @Dano. 5% on your front windows is going to invite/leave you open to some problems. For example if you are ever in a bad accident, your insurance company can have a real problem with it. Not to mention the danger you put others in.
  7. Way better than the bare dash, plus they keep the dash nicer over time.
  8. The first tint shop I worked at in the 80's also sold a lot of dash mats for the same reason. https://www.amazon.com/SPEEDWOW-Dashboard-Compatible-2014-2019-Chevrolet/dp/B08JHJJZ1K/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=3ASSKWW4U2G2W&keywords=GMC+Sierra+dash+mat&qid=1665351962&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIzLjY5IiwicXNhIjoiMi45MSIsInFzcCI6IjEuNTkifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=gmc+sierra+dash+mat%2Caps%2C126&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1
  9. Better give it the ol high speed wind test before returning to customer. Just to be prudent.
  10. That looks like contamination to me. Rust? Nope, never seen glass rust. I have seen welding slag cause a similar appearance. It's where someone welded or grinded something next to the glass and some of the hot sparks will stick to the glass and causes little lumps and pitting that look very similar to heavy contamination. I don't think that's the case here though. Without being able to see it in person, I can't say for sure.
  11. There's always going to be that guy. Just do what it takes to get rid of a person like that, and be polite as possible as not to give them any ammunition to use against you later.
  12. It definitely could be better, but I've seen a lot worse. I'd let the shop know you have some concerns and take it from there.
