When I'm the consumer and something sounds too good to be true, I know it probably is. So if someone tells me they will do an absolute perfect job everytime, I know they are full of $h!t
I wonder if these guys who preach perfection have ever had a single comeback? Also if the comeback had one minut imperfection on the entire bumper, would they redo the entire bumper? Don't answer because I know what you would say on a forum would be different than a real life scenario.

OMG, I've seen some big egos on this forum, but tango2 actually takes the crown now! By it's very definition, perfection is UNACHIEVABLE! What 99% of the population would consider "perfect" is achievable if you're very very good, and take the time to achieve these results. I have 100% 5 star reviews on Yelp, Facebook, and Google, and yet, there are always tiny imperfections that I have to just let go of before I deliver a vehicle to a customer just to keep my sanity because I'm striving for perfection, but it's just not possible. One tiny stretch line, one seam that doesn't line up PERFECTLY, or one tiny speck of dust is all that it takes to come up short of perfection. God, how I'd love to be able to inspect EVERY install EVER done by tango2's multiple employees. It's hard enough to achieve near perfection if you do every install yourself, but add 14 employees? And they're all perfect? This discussion is a joke. Of course, I'm sure tango2 isn't even looking at this thread any more, right, ha ha? He used the classic "I can't make you people agree with me, so I'm out of this thread" move. At least he's striving for perfection. About 90% of installers around here do jaw droppingly bad work, which hurts the industry.

You completely missed my point. I did not mention the one pic everyone is talking about. I am talking about taking close up pics during and after the install process. All of the pics your company has is of cars at a distance. If the install is perfect you would be taking close up pics so people can actually see your work. We don't need a full shot of the car... we aren't car shopping. We are looking at your work to see what a PERFECT install looks like. way to avoid the point and run.

My day yesterday consisted of a residential job.
    10 windows R/R with Mac 5000
Old film was hanging on the glass for dear life.

Don't worry about seeing the tools and drink on the piano, it's not even real. They're all props to fill the house since it was up for sale.

The last two windows were on the third level in a office space.

    Busy day for me yesterday.

Had a BMW M6 dropped off that needed to be wrapped for a body shop for one of their clients.

Started off with having a full tint on this G Wagon in color stable

Then had a VW Jetta FXPM full tint (didn't take photo, not worth it.)

And finally got to work on this M6
Oracal Ice Grey turned out to match perfectly.

They brought the vehicle back this morning to press out some imperfections/peel back that were on the previous wrap.
And so I could get a photo since by the time I finished it yesterday it was almost 6 and already dark.

Then this 2014 Porsche 911 Carrera that came in for a full front end PPF
    (photo was off my phone)

Finally a 2015 Mercedes CLA 250 Color Stable full tint

I have a question, if all of your installs are perfect then why aren't you taking better photos that are much more close up than the ones you have? I went through your website and do not see any photos that are close enough to make anything out. If I were on here claiming I do PERFECT installs every single time I better have a LOT of pictures taken up close to prove it. You might also take some pics of the install process as I have seen first hand installers taking pics of the car pre install and saying those were the finished results. I for one do not believe in perfection. I think there is always going to be a defect somewhere. Hell I can walk around ANY CAR MADE and find a defect in the paint somewhere. Painting is done in a clean room environment is very controlled conditions and they do not even get perfection. Find it hard to believe that not only do you get it but every single time. Throw some pics of an install in progress with some high res pics of the finished install up close and at different angles and I wont think you are completely full of yourself. I am sure as hell not flying all the way over there to look at installs... and you will find no one else will either. So lets get those pics coming so you can prove us all wrong.

Lock, you hit the nail on the head!!

As much as I was trying to only be entertained by this thread, and not give any input, Lock said it right.
Anyone who considers themselves "the master of all" in any regard, is limiting their own ability to progress.

Perfection is something we should all strive for. No matter what skill level you are, it gives us something to work towards, yet isn't completely attainable.
I believe if you're not progressing, you're regressing. So if perfection were attainable then there's no way my previous statement could be true. Perfection means no more progression which means you're regressing.
As was mentioned before, perfection is in the eye of the beholder. One persons flawless job might be someone else's sub par job. No doubt many of you do exceptional work, but to claim perfection 100% of the time makes me believe there are some extremely major egos or perhaps just poor eyesight.

I don't think anyone should get on Dynamics case for trying, the challenge was thrown out there and like he said no one is really going to fly there to accept it so nothing wrong with him attempting it over pics.

I don't think (would hope) there is one installer that wouldn't aim for those standards. You do have to draw the line somewhere if that perfection means unnecessary material and time wastage for not much gain. Sure learn from it for the next install. There are shops that don't get high discounts on material to waste, have high overheads, single or low staff numbers, better eyes, lighting etc. Knowing when to cut your acceptable losses is just as an important part to a successful business, as long as the customer is happy....
