  1. No knife hitting the paint for any reason here, I'd like to see a better pic of the damage as it doesn't even look bad from what I think I'm seeing Were child seats involved Did you move your girlfriend/boyfriend recently Nobody has the time or wants to look like it's a repeat problem and take the time to document every tiny thing they find with pictures, unless they've overbooked you to check in Cameron's dads Ferrari. I've been accused of some stupid in my day so I'm on the defensive here for ma fellow tinter.
  2. Gotta pull t20's one under lock button on top of panel at rear, one behind handle cover
  3. Pull it out dry it out with compressed air and let it sit a while. Did this with on old 545 beemer many years ago and it was fine.... not saying it'll work but it's worth a shot man.
  4. You might be able to pull the amp you just got wet and dry it out with compressed air passenger quarter panel I think
  5. Got sick of getting stabbed by the little foot while it was in my pouch other than that I liked it @Tint Slayer
  6. After break in I like em better than the regular yellow turbos, they conform better on a curve for me. Was looking more for insight than anything, either way I still card my sides down.
  7. Brand new fusion wil irritate me a bit cleaning a door, after a couple days though they work well. I'm a 5 in yellow turbo guy for clean and first pass on doors. It's too tacky new to swipe my sides down so I use a blue tri edge x or my cut down orange/yellow lidco. what's your beef with em
  8. Have you cleaned the inside after the install Sprayaway and paper towels
  9. So you're dancing the same getting them back together? @TNTLady
  10. I probably need to shut my mouth and put down my purse! @TNTLady 's got it down all like what chu cryin bout no ma'am
  11. Putting them back in is where I struggle Getting the panel back over the sweep can be tricky to for me. Been starting them with this. Are you pulling the screw behind the handle too?
  12. The only 944 I've ever worked on had a similar situation where the border flaked off if you looked at it wrong and I work for a company where tint was an after thought so.... didn't go well. 3 pieces and I'm terrible at seeming before my time
  13. How you doing them front doors on those x5/7's lady I may have some valuable how not to wrestle reinstall of lower sweep if you're interested @TNTLady
  14. happy I'm finally getting some recognition for my hard work! Here's the nasty strip and retint from yesterday... bagel under the passenger seat that was growing shit to boot
  15. Can we reference @shadytints video with the bazooka tube suspended from the the ceiling with 30 second shrink Nobody's touching that for a longtime
  16. Some stratos 50 sides 30 rear, with 50 on the roofs and 80 on the shield. They did add a cover for the amp but still ain't taking chances, lot of work in one little car.
  17. Try rubbing some 91% alcohol on it, really looks like overspray to me. Maybe even a little laquer thinner on a microfiber towel
  18. Yep I use lulu at work and this is what I've done for years. Say you want the dots on a frameless beemer door to stick get the top stuck using this method and a torch and then a heat gun down at the bottom, for this to work well your patterns really need to cover the dots on the side. The bottom I roll my cut up just enough that it's not deep in the seal as to keep it from soaking up more solution and never sticking.
  19. If you use that rewind to raw stuff on it you won't have as much of a problem
  20. Air 80, comfort 30, pinnacle 50 with atc 15 over it and comfort 30 with hp qdp 5 over it. Front to back trying to make old bronze/gray match best I can on the old g ride 91 s-15 jimmy.
