I have one of these coming in today, I here bad things about the back glass. any helpful hints before I start this piece of s***

I havent done one yet but from the picture it looks like a pos, wiper motor int he way on the inside, struts probably in the way, also it looks kinda curvy on the sides. good luck.

They aren't too bad, the wiper and the struts are the only hard part, the rest of the car is gravy

Agree with TD. The only hassle is cutting/shrinking around the obstacles on the back glass. Easy money.

yes I see the struts are always a pain in the ass, I will have to work around them

pry off the strut clip with a small screwdriver, and support the glass when tinting.

Cut the wiper motor close and hard card it in .

Yeah, I agree with TS, don't leave a gap where you can see the edge of the film behind the wiper motor. That looks like crap.

be sure and shrink down a little further than the bottom of the frit. cause the top of the glass disappears under the wing. you have to cut it a little short on top and a little longer on bottom, so you can slide it up a little when you lay it inside. if you don't, picky customers will find a light gap when looking at it from certain directions. DON'T cut the holes until you have it inside. the back glass is a complete b***h, but the rest of the car is typical toyota, easy money.

and I recommend removing the wiper motor, just makes it a little easier.

Looks harder than it actually is. The glass lifts away from the wiper motor. Just cut around the strut pegs. Shrink and install.
