yeah, for some people out there they just don't understand a thing until you draw 'em a picture. I imagine most of texas is made up of people like that. Hell my sister lives there.

I just made two sample glass boards, one for MPVs, one for passenger cars and labeled them "LEGAL TINT FOR _______"

Then the customer can pick from the samples on the glass and there's no confusion. Also, you don't get the "I thought it would look darker" comments that way.

Keep it as simple as possible, saves everyone headaches.
