That's one heck of an install going there...

Did you say triple lami?

Checked with the engineer today... he said that exterior silver will actually lower the absorption rate on that glass as opposed to raising it one a single pane exterior install. Good call, Sol...

Thats good to know metint, when I checked that glass on a sunny day prior to filming, the glass was roasting about 50 degrees, not sure what that is in old money, fah, but you had to remove your hand quickly, They wanted another film that absorbs 60% told them maybe not a good idea, and went for a Silver 60 External fit, absorbs 40%, heat rejection 60%.

Cant finnish of until they replace the broken panes, :DD at ten grand, it makes my instal price well cheap compared with glass replacement.

Anybody got a few tips on large windows? Clear UV

I have just priced up a job with 26 windows all at about 3.5 metres high by 4.5 wide

I think in feet thats about 11 feet high by 14 feet wide.

All south facing, I am almost hoping not to get the job, blood sweat and tears springs to mind :thumb

I have not tried back rolling, maybe this would be the best option?

When reverse rolling a PS, tou can put a smmoth heavy bar inside to weight the film this makes many things possible. I call it a pop rod. VISTA (www.vista-films.com) has a Spec Sel 70 with cdf adhesive its awesome.
