It seemed to be harder than an NSX.... due to its length. I dry shrunk it the best I could.. then wet it and forced the left over fingers into places that were workable (not easy, the bottom? its 5" wide... its all curved!)

Took a bit of time. But, I got it done. now I know...and knowing is half the battle!

I do alot of vettes.I find it to be fairly easy to do .just pre-shrink the sides.the back glass seems a little more intimidating than it actually is.

now what about the install on the rear glass how accessible is that?

Where are you anchoring the glass, higher or lower than center?

I haven't done one yet myself, but a friend just got one.

Um, U mean when shrinking? I set it across the middle (horizontally) and the sides just the forward parts, not the bottom. shrunk most of the loose film out, and then wet it and squeegied, and shrunk the rest out as not to over-shrink or melt.

did an 05 using suntek hp, used the M-dizzle method and it turen out great!

thats what I used. tried powder, tried wet...I cussed and yelled till I did the m-dizzle fer hizzle method and it worked great..good luck

I used the Suntek Carbon with the wizzax method that no one seems to have tried yet.

just like soap...just use wax instead of ivory

My guys have done 3 now with baby powder and a torch, 1 piece, using SolarGard 22 HP Charcoal, doesn't take them much longer than about 20 minutes on them.
