I can't believe how many customers come in saying,"I just put on the vent shades before I came in to get my windows tinted". What a pain in the rear to work on.

I f'ing h@te those things.

always on trucks to.

even on the pop out windows. POINTLESS.

really their all together ugly. (oppinion)

as cold as it is now (here anyway) you h@te to remove em. not pliable at all. they crack. even if you hit the 3m tape with a gun to loosen the adhesive.

thinking of adding something in the work order as a disclaimer.

Must admit..It sours my day a well :nope

However they are a fact of life and aren't going away anytime soon , I've gotten used to working with them to the point where they don't bother me as much now..but the ones that still burn me once in a while is whe nthey are on say an S10 or Ranger..where there's not enough glass area so tack the film down when cutting and the F*&^ pattern moves slightly on you and you don't realize it till it's time to place it on :lol

Admitidly..a good time to have a precut tint system ..just not enough to justify one for my particular biz :nope

We sell/Install those things- and every once in a while one of the guys will put a set on, then tell me the car still needs tint... :nope:nope

It doesnt matter how often I mention tint before vent-visors, they still do it.

they make those things now without the 3M tape

they slide up under the window molding and the door frame.

much easier to remove and get out of your way
