The only possible use I have considered it for is, clear plastic Jeeps and convertibles....

That's what it's for.....I use to have a 60" roll of that crap, had it for years, finally gave it away, customer had a tracker with the two plastic quarters on each side, he'd keep coming back cuz after about 6 months the pieces would shrink and fall off, after the third time it was like,"Here, take it, I'm done, this should last you for years"
