Proposed Texas tint law

You two sound like a bunch of wussys! 95% of our customers want darker tint. I am sick of the government dictating BS that is not their business. They are beginning to restrict too many freedoms this is just one example of many other areas. They start small and when they see they can get away with it they add more and more restrictions. AS1 line is another example of a BS law. The laws need to be consistent from inspection station to police officer to tint shop. Ignoring the problem will not make it go away only get worse. Pretty soon they will want to dictate how many sheets of toilet paper we use per wipe. None of their freeking buisness!!!!!!! We need Oklahoma tint laws in Texas.

The laws are in place as a safety precaution. You are right though, the laws should coincide with the inspection requirements. Window film is dangerous when applied too dark on side windows, thats why there are laws. Im ok with the laws here in Texas. If there were no window screening laws, we would have idiots with 5% windshields, and collisions at night time would skyrocket.
