I'd challenge the ticket.

Why.. on the fronts?? 70% light transfer is ca. legal..

All cars I'd say from about 2k up have a slight 30% tint in glass from manufactor... anything over that is over the limit.. even GM products have a stamp in glass says 70% light transfer..

Our law is "NET". So .73 x .70 = approx 50 to 52% depending on the particulars.

I had V-Kool 70% on a Volvo Wagon get cited.

But Californians just love authoritarian laws and regulations.

Supposedly to protect the police, whose job is allegedly "dangerous".

The 10 most dangerous jobs

Occupation Fatalities per 100,000

Timber cutters 117.8

Fishers 71.1

Pilots and navigators 69.8

Structural metal workers 58.2

Drivers-sales workers 37.9

Roofers 37

Electrical power installers 32.5

Farm occupations 28

Construction laborers 27.7

Truck drivers 25

Source: Bureau of Labor Statistics; survey of occupations with minimum 30 fatalities and 45,000 workers in 2002

Back in 95-96 the citation had a box to be checked if it was a correctable violation. If the box is not checked then you get stuck with fine.

just my :lol

That box is on the ticket and only gets checked when you give the officer some attitude.

In California some agencies charge for their time to sign the ticket off.

THEN the court takes another hand full of cash.

Why exactly is it that we ( Americans) feel so superior to the Mexican system of la mordita?

:lol2:dunno

California worships police.

They have God like powers to lie, steel and cheat.
