you need to update WA laws too. changed recently to 24% NET law all around for passenger vehicles. we no longer have to deal with the 35% +/- bullshiat.

hey Blade,, ... you have the tolerance of +/- 3% according to the "Statute" in Wa on sunscreening or window tint

here's what everyone should do if your not sure about the state laws based on what Iwfa or any other website say's go to the Goverment website for your particular state because those websites only tell you have of what you need to know, obviously the "Statute" itself

Window Tinting / Sunscreening

Sunscreening devices are products, permanent, semi-permanent, and temporary, which reduce the adverse effects of the sun. RCW 46.37.430

The maximum level of sunscreening material to be applied to any window, except the windshield, shall have a total reflectance of 35% or less ( +3%), and a light transmittance of 35% or more ( +3%) resulting in a minimum of 24% light transmission on AS-2 glazing. RCW 46.37.430
