DO NOT heat up a windshield with a heat gun for any reason or you will likely crack it....no matter who makes it!

then how do people tint windshields for the exempt and the brows?

I've heated plenty. you just don't wanna concentrate a decent amount of heat on one area. steady even heat and you'll be fine.

I was speaking of heating up a SPOT....keep it even, but I would just say don't heat up the outside for anything.

I don't find a need to shrink brows and I don't tint windshields....

I get lots of people wanting brows, makes it a pain not to shrink, especially on trucks.

and im only considering the windshield because of glare. love the other tint eliminating glare.

in no way would I ever want it dark or impairing vision. 70% ceramic is way dark enough. just something to cut glare

problem is I only need a few feet and dont want to drop 200 on a big roll ill never use

got the new WS so thought it would be a good time to finish er off

heck I feel it should be mandatory to tint the windshield like that. helps enhance vision and not be blinded. that factory crap is not even close to competing with after market film
