Arizona prob gets more intense heat and sun then S. Fla, and Im sure there are films that last more than two years.

Arizona has little to zero humidity.

Anywhere you have both HOT and humid for as much time as seen in the tropics (the sunbelt of the US), film will fail quicker, more especially PS adhesives.

Australia and So Florida are know to the mannys as graveyards for film.

Ok, then is the statement that all films last no longer than 2 years true?

I wouldn't state that because of climate where they're used varies way too much. Gila would be fine in Alaska, but not in Hawaii.

bingo! 2 years is all any film [automotive] will last out in direct sun day after day in south fla.

you start to see the flim break down fast if you closely inspect it-thank god customers dont notice. [wringles in the adhesive

llumar atr will last 3-4 but if the customer smokes cigs in the car-no film lasts more than a year 1/2 with out breaking down.

IN south fla it rains almost every day-afternoon rain showers lead to sun a hour later with 90% plus humidity that sweats the film off the cars

a good film in Australia will last 7-8 years.. thats a good metalized product.

its not the humidity/heat in Oz thats the problem, its the gaping hole in the Ozone Layer over the country which makes the UV index so high the lifespan of every type of product is reduced. Even humans! :lol

:bingo it's amazing how many times I explain to southerners that just because we don't get as long of a summer here, my skin will burn SO much faster in my back yard sitting out on a hot afternoon than when I go down south on vacation :into
