Help with removing defrost lines totally.

I would like to know of any tricks of the trade to remove defrost lines totally. My situation is in the rear hatch of a vehicle a customer has installed a back up camera and in plain sight of a defrost line causing a line to appear in the view on the back up monitor. The camera unit was placed in the third brake light assembly. I am able to strip the metal of the line is there any way to remove the orange line left remaining. Any kind of chemical or trick to strip this. The line is about 4 inches long. Any help would be appreciated.

not that I know of, I've had to razor my share of defroster lines in my life and the orange is allways left behind. I suppose you could buff them out with cerum oxide

cant you just re angle the cam

the orange line IS NOT removable. PERIOD. only option is to buy a new glass that isn't heated.
