Just had a customer contact me about doing a Ford F550. He told me the tint had to be DOT approved and I veigly remember a truck driver telling me a few years back that DOT tint is 50ish% but he might have been blowin smoke. Anybody know?

In Texas and i assume everywhere-DOT vehicles can not have any sunscreening devices...such as tint.

You can put tint on the back of the vehicle but not the windows immediately the the left and right of the driver. 70% is what the law is and thats clear glass basically.
