Cash flow! That's a major opportunity for BSF... Saint Gobain is a huge company. Congratz guys! :twocents

This is HUGE for them... pretty seismic shift.

Seismic, sure is. A 40+ billion dollar company 190+ thousand employees worldwide... that's a lot of backing by a company that's even bigger than 3M. Glass industry must think window film still has some play in it? Funny.

It definitely has the potential to change things up depending on what Saint-Gobain decides to do. I wonder if this has more to do with using the film technology in an OEM way as they are a window manufacturer and less to do with the retrofit business. Only time will tell.

This is extremely interesting for their window film group. Solar Gard has been a puzzling under-achiever; yet they are still a major player with huge capabilities in desperate need for focus, direction and leadership. The potential is limitless.

With this acquisition, you may see Saint-Gobain integrating window film technologies into their glazing systems to increase performance. Having window film used in the OEM should increase credibility for it’s use on the retrofit side that most of us operate in. :tantrum
