hi folks

done one few weeks back and took some pics

took door cards off but a pain to find on the front ones

only two screws one near door catch and one near door catch (cutting costs should be at least 3)

for the front same at door handle below

second took me 30 mins to figure out

you have to press both lock and unlock buttons at the same time

and then pinch the center plastic out. then behind that will be above screw

p.s. be careful against the plastic ribbon cable

and finished

and customer wanted a further 15% on the front

We did the current ML I think just with taping the felt, rest was pretty easy.

I did one of these the other day.

Get a call today saying the drivers window doesn't go up automatically anymore with one press.

Called Merc service and they said its a 20 second fix.

They didn't tell me how this is done.

Does it have to go to service for fix or can anyone do this?

Bring down both windows at the same time by holding the switches just before the click that brings them down automatically.

Once both windows are all the way down make both switches click by pressing them all the way down. Hold the position to the count of 3.

'Note:This lets the ECU learn that that is the end of the window track and it records it in memory.

Repeat the procedure closing the windows by holding both switches and making them click once the windows are all the way up.

Repeat Procedure with the front windows.

Bring Moon Roof all the back and hold then all the way forward and hold.
