How strong is 8mil security film?

You would have a hard time getting through 1 layer of anchored 8 mil.

When you say 2 layers I hope you mean inside and outside layer. Applying multiple layers of security film ontop one another is not correct at all. If nothing else you should just install 12 mil.

I know this is the wrong section for this but I have 2 rolls of PS8 Llumar 35% and 15% that is 4/5 full on each packed and stored properly I'm willing to sell at a very very good price if anyone is interested. As an added bonus I'm willing to throw in a virtually new Thor's Hammer for installations , pm me to let me know

All I'm saying is why use 2 layers of film when you can achieve the same go with 1 layer of a thicker film.

You wouldn't install 2 layers of 50 percent solar film to get 35 percent solar film would you.

You have a lot more experience with layering security film then I do. I was taught not to layer the stuff unless you just had to.
