What are my options?

Recommended Posts

Customer called and said there's about a nickel size air pocket on one of the doors I tinted. I tinted them about 3 weeks ago. I used Johnson DN60. I'm guessing either water ran back down between the film or I missed a section with my squeegee. I'm going to look at it tomorrow morning and would like to know if there's an easy fix.

Here are my questions:

Will it appear white-ish like auto film once it dries?

Make a small pin hole and squeegee it down?

Will the film be tacky with no slip solution?

And of course I know "redo"?

Thanks.

could be water still too....but I would do what snappy said either way. If you have the film you might just re-tint it as to save yourself the headache of going back again if it doesn't look 100% after the "pop"

I had a couple weird spots on a pair of glass slider doors at a home a few years ago. I called JWF and they actually sent out film for them. The spots looked like it had rusted in a silver dollar size spot on both. It had dried out and looked great when I returned with the film to re-tint them though....so you can never know what will dry out for certain.
